A WDI is a non invasive, visual inspection as to the presence or absence of sub-terranean termites, other wood destroying insects and organisms, and the presence of conducive conditions. These are things that make it favorable to having an infestation.

So what are we looking for?

Aside from sub-terranean termites, we are also looking for drywood, dampwood, formosoan termites, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, powder post beetles, wood borers.

There are two types of homes/buildings in Texas. Those that have termites  and those that are going to have them. I have  been in this industry for 30 years and termites are my specialty. Not only can I identify what's eating your home, I am qualified and certified to treat for them as well. I run a full service Termite & Pest Control company.  All of my termite and carpenter ant programs are built around Termidor. Your home is your most valuable investment. Why trust it with anything less than Termidor...America's #1 termiticide for over 20 years.

 What are conducive conditions?

Conducive conditions are risk factors. These are some examples: Tree limbs or shrubs touching the house, wood pile in contact with the house, loose wood debris in the crawl space, insufficient ventilation in the crawl space, soil levels too high, excess moisture,  wood deck in contact, etc.

Did you know...

We have found termite activity on brand new homes; even on structures that are all steel and all concrete.! A termites job is to search for wood or cellulose material to feed the colony. Cellulose material is found in soil, wood, grass, paper, cotton, the paper off the sheetrock, etc. If the conditions are right, termites can go undetected for years. If you're not sure if you have them, call Tammy today. She's not the cheapest but she's not the most expensive either. Use caution with whom you hire, cheapest price sometimes means youll get what you pay for. You deserve the best inspector and your home deserves the best inspection. If you think its expensive to hire a professional, just wait til you hire an amateur.

How much is a termite inspection?

The cost varies from size and location?  How much are you buying that house for? Isn't the cost of a termite inspection a fair price for peace of mind. If we find nothing that's what we tell you. If we find termites, we can give you a reasonable price backed by a 10 year treatment warranty.

We can schedule your termite inspection the same time your home inspection is being done. That saves you money and saves her time. best part of this, is for your convenience, you only have to make one call to schedule both inspections and their report is given to you before I leave the inspection.

IF YOU THINK ITS TOO EXPENSIVE TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL INSPECTOR, JUST WAIT TIL YOU HIRE AN AMATEUR!

 Mosquito Control

Mosquitos-free

In the south, most of us grew up catching lightning bugs and playing tag on hot summer nights. But nothing brought these good times to an end like mosquitoes. Many of our parents and grandparents tried to protect us with everything from bug zappers to "Deep Woods" bug repellent, but bug bites on our legs, arms, and faces were a fact of life. Meanwhile, pets were exposed to heartworms and other mosquito-borne illnesses.

"Fences, alarms, security systems, we don’t think twice before investing in these. They protect our home against invasion, right? What about termites? Only 1/16th of an inch is all a termite needs to invade your home. Think of your home as a castle. You wouldn’t leave it unprotected from foreign invaders, would you? You may be thinking, “there's specific protection for that?” The answer is "Yes", a termite warranty. We offer retreatment warranties. "Retreatment warranties" cover the retreatment of the affected areas of the home in the event of a termite infestation, but we don't cover damages or repairs. Termite damage is not included in homeowners insurance. Insurance companies see termite issues as inevitable for many homes, in which case they would lose more money than they make. This illustrates how prevalent this problem is for many families and their homes.
